How to Go Deeper
Over the last forty days, you have embarked on an amazing, Spirit-filled journey alongside the persecuted church. You’ve learned about the spiritual growth of churches in Cuba, Vietnam, North Korea, Iran, and China in the midst of extreme persecution. You’ve met Robert Jermain Thomas, Pauline Ayadd, and Mrs. Mukhtar, to name a few.
Most Christians that come into contact with the persecuted are transformed and forever changed. Nowhere else in the world do you see such complete devotion to the Lord and such high cost. They simply show us what the Church can and should be.
It is our hope and prayer that their lives will leave a lasting impression on your heart, as they have to so many others reminding you of those who still live as believers in oppressive countries but also transforming your own relationship with Christ and your view of the world.
After experiencing their pain, their courage, their faithfulness, and their forgiveness, you’re probably wondering: What’s next? How can I remember and help the persecuted?
